"I had a brilliant experience being part of the ‘Naughty and Nice’ exhibition with Sweet ‘Art. It gave me the chance to exhibit alongside an exciting range of original work, with an opening party full of extra goodies and activities that created such a fun atmosphere, and by the end of the show I had sold my exhibiting piece!"

- Mia-Jane

"I discovered the open call for Naughty and Nice on Instagram, the process for applying was very straight forward. I particularly liked that you only paid a fee if you were selected to exhibit.

The work selected varied in styles, mediums and prices, I felt the exhibition was engaging.

The Private view was vibrant and busy with a diverse audience. The atmosphere was more similar to a party than a PV! The Krampus Lair added to the fun spirit of the evening.

The gin punch was yummy and all the Sweet Art representatives were approachable and available.  My family came with me to the PV,  they are not regular gallery visitors, but they throughly enjoyed themselves and even bought some art."

- Phanggungfook

"Thank you so much to Sweet Art! This ladies and their interns were so cool that I would like to meet them again! The show was very nice with  many particular goodies!! Great event.”

"Thanks so much to you and your team for a fabulous event. Friends and family who visited said how well curated the work was and how the fabulous venue lent itself so perfectly to Femfest.

I'd like to also say cheers to all of you at Sweet 'Art for doing such a professional job and making us feel so welcome. I am also quite in love with Sheila Muse form her mix of green sequins to her fantastic music picks!”

- Linda Gray

"It was a great experience to be part of femfest that brought together the work of artists identifying as women from near and far. The wide range of work and arts practice was fantastic, bringing into focus some very key and real subject matters. The weekend was great fun and a chance to meet like minded artists, along with the femfair I enjoyed every minute."

- Andrea Hannon

"I thoroughly enjoyed my day at FemFair – it was great to meet so many other women artists and makers of beautiful, funny and challenging products. I really enjoyed the space and the event : excellent music, delicious food and a free gin and Fentiman’s (or two) too.

So congratulations and please do let me know of future fairs in unusual places!”

"I've exhibited twice with Sweet 'Art and each time this has been an enjoyable and positive experience. As an artist I've been treated with warmth and kindness by Corrina and her team. The shows are varied, good fun and refreshing, efficiently run and organised, and are driven by a genuine concern for the issues and needs of women and the marginalised in society."

- Anne Parfitt

"Once again Sweetart curated a fantastic show at a fantastic location. Not only there was a wide range of art on show, but also the quality and originality of the artworks picked where amazing. As an artist it is a pleasure to work with the Sweetart team as everything is well planned and the communication and organisation of shows is second to none.

I am delighted to be part of these great exhibitions and always surprised by so many little surprises and ideas which they come up with during the show.

Lovely team , great fellow artists, can't get any better than this.
I hope I will participate in so many more Sweetart shows in the future. “

- Ricki Nerretor

"I have had some bad experiences with exhibiting in the past, so I’m really chuffed to say that not only was working with Sweet Art a polite and organised experience, it was exciting, fun and something I am very proud to say I was a part of.

My work was treated extremely respectfully, the whole experience and communication was professional and the launch / exhibition itself was inclusive and a pleasure to be part of!

The work I was exhibiting alongside was interesting and of high quality, so much so I bought a piece by another artist on the opening night.

Such a great opportunity, thanks Sweet Art ladies, you’re fabulous!"

- Keith 'Bloody' Mary

"The exhibition was very well curated and brought together such a fascinating and diverse range of work. I am pleased to have been included with this group of artists and glad to work with Sweet'Art for the first time. I hope to work with you again. I only wish the show could have been viewed for much longer!

Thank you so much for your understanding and patience as well as your hard work making this show happen!"

- Sean Wilson

"I  just wanted to say how much I enjoyed being part of the SHE event and exhibition.
The show was brilliantly curated, the standard of work throughout was really high,  the venue was fantastic and you guys were incredible.
BTW, I thoroughly enjoyed the opening party, the cocktails went down a treat and the vagina cakes and edible tampons were genius! Thank you."
- Deborah Griffin

"A well curated and organised exhibition with an original and exciting theme that was an absolute pleasure to be a part of. Great communication and promotion throughout resulting in a sale I was really pleased with! Would hugely recommend to any artist looking to exhibit with a unique and inspiring collective"
- Charlotte Edey

"It was a great opportunity for me to share my work in a Sweet Arts exhibition I feel like this was the right context for my piece Stay With Me Forever and brought a new audience to my work. The whole team were so professional and welcoming and it was a pleasure to share work among such a great range of artists. SHE was a brilliant platform to explore aspects of femininity and I feel really proud to have been a part of it."

- Anthea Lewis

"Dear Sweet ‘Arts,

- Marnie Scarlet

"Can I just say how blown away I was with the exhibition space, the industrial setting was very fitting for the nature of the work. The standard and broad range of art exploring gender, feminism and femininity was beautifully curated and allowed for each work to breathe whilst creating a dialogue with the space. It was my first time exhibiting at SHE with Sweet Art and it truly was a fantastic and liberating experience. What was also intriguing was an unconventional setting to allow for a new dialogue to concur with the aesthetic of material, form and conceptual qualities. Hopefully further opportunities with Sweet Art will emerge in the near future!

Thanks again Sweet Art!"

- Lisa Evens

"I just wanted to write and let you know how exceptionally wonderful I thought the SHE exhibition was!
Not only was the exhibition a fantastic and refreshingly unique variety of feminist artists that I was honored to be a part of, but working with the Sweet 'Art staff throughout the entire process was a simple, smooth and straightforward one with great communication and perfectly detailed instructions and emails. If only all experiences with galleries and curators could be as fantastic as it was with you guys. Thank you for the wonderful opportunity, I feel incredibly lucky to have been able to have my work in the SHE exhibition!”
- Kat Toronto

"Sweet Art proved indispensable with my exhibition set up for before encore 6. They kindly advised on all manner of press duties and sorted out virtually every possible listing site known to help spread the word. Coupled with their daily support throughout show dates (where no drama or problem was too big or small to help with - and fix!) they also came with utterly competent and kind volunteers to help man invigilator ranks and trustfully man merchandise counters.

As a solo artist making big shows on a tiny budget this team were all that I could have hoped for. I felt fully supported throughout the whole process and made a few new friends along the way."

- John Lee Bird

"I really loved taking part in Hand Maid, an  amazing collection of art celebrating International Women's Week. Not only was the art of an incredibly high quality, the whole exhibition was made easy for all of us artists chosen to take part, as wearesweetart handled every part the exhibition with such professionalism. The opening night was rammed with folk and the atmosphere was so friendly and inviting. I look forward to exhibiting with you in the future, you're a fabulous organisation! Well done everyone!"

- Jane Fairhurst

"I’m delighted to have been part of the perfect bunch on International Women’s Day! Thank you for this inclusive event, for all the work you have done, for the catalogue and all the other extraordinary freebies and surprises.  You have done an outstanding job!"

- Gudrun Latten

"That was a GREAT exhibition! Delighted to be part of it. Beautifully curated, excellent organisation - you'd made it really easy for artists. And I love the venue - Wonderful stuff."

- Sally Hewett

"Sweetart are providing a wonderful platform for artists whose work does not sit comfortably within the usual exhibiting scene. Genuine, conscientious, accommodating and hard working they are greatly appreciated and I count myself very fortunate to have shown with them.”

- Diane Mears

"I found Hand Maid quite exceptional in the diversity of commentary on what it is to be a woman in the individual pieces. There was a theme of living inside the female form while celebrating it. The challenge of enjoying the ownership of one's body as a woman, while suffering from its objectification by society. The challenge of being true to one's own gender while being required to adapt to perceived social norms of sexuality and reproduction. There was a brilliant sarcasm on display about society's attitude to a woman as object which to me, was epitomised by the pin-up model projected on a wall. The detail in some of the symbolic and corporeal representations of the female body epitomised in for example the simulated oysters (genitalia) and fabric breasts (with intricate golden embroidered nipples) was compelling. There was humour and hubris and plain gory horror on display showing that women can self-satirise as much as celebrate their uniqueness. I am proud to have been part of this exhibition.”

- Sally Gethin

"Thank you so much for curating the brilliant "Don't look now" show! It was a true pleasure and privilege to be part of it. My friends and I loved the exhibition and we enjoyed the opening party very much! I am already looking forward to the next. Keep up the fantastic work! I love Sweetart's creativity! It's so inspirational!"

- Julia Bellamy

"Don't Look Now was a Halloween-themed exhibition showcasing the macabre in art, short film and a life-drawing session. I was fortunate to have my short film TEA BREAKDOWN screened at their film festival, which was picked by the organizers. It was a pleasure to meet like-minded individuals and great fun to take part in their gory life-drawing session. I hope to participate in their events one way or another again."

- Andrew Ionides

"I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you guys for allowing me to be part of these great exhibitions. The quality of curating and organisation is top notch and the events during the exhibition are awesome. The bar crawl is an innovative and refreshing way to look at and talk about art - a lil booze always helps! I was a bit nervous to talk about my work but you guys set such a relaxing atmosphere. I really enjoyed myself and probably would have carried on talking all night!”

- Klausiskoming

"Thank you for the opportunity to show my work in the Punch exhibition at Espacio Gallery. As before, it's a pleasure dealing with Sweet'Art - the communications are always prompt and professional; the fees are reasonable; I commend how you only charge exhibiting artists, and don't charge for unsuccessful submissions; and I admire how you promote your events with such enthusiasm.”
- Peter D'Alessandri

"I loved the Y Not? exhibition - really beautifully curated. Delighted to have been part of it. Impressive organisation and communication too. Congratulations to Sweet’Art! Only regret I have is that I couldn't make the Private View and so I missed the cup cakes!!”

-Sally Hewett

"The Y-Not exhibition in support of International Women’s Day and Women’s Month 2015 was a rich and widely representative selection of contemporary 2D & 3D art, with no bias in any direction.  The links with photographers in Hong Kong and Little Pink Monster artists in Texas were a really interesting opportunity to see work being produced outside the UK, that wouldn’t have come to our notice otherwise.  The organisation was very professional, with respect for contributors as individuals.  Looking forward to more!”

-Angela Smith

"Many thanks for offering me the opportunity to be part of  the Y-Not? recent exhibition. I was very pleased to be part of such an impressive show.
Thanks again and hopefully I will be exhibiting again on future Sweet 'art shows.”

-Nadia Nervo

"Exhibiting with Sweet ‘Art was a brilliant opportunity to show my work in a great Central London location! The Y Not? Exhibition had excellent artworks and many layers of interesting connections with the International Women's Day theme, collaborations with a Texas gallery and support for a women's charity. Working with the people at Sweet  ‘Art is simple as they are very organised and arrange everything in a very professional manner.

The great private view was topped off with fun homemade cupcakes! Thanks so much Sweet ‘Art for all your hard work to make the exhibition and the great PR and marketing! Amazing!!"

-Cheryl Papasian

"Thank you so much for letting me part of this amazing exhibition and to be part of the Sweet 'Art gang for a few days. Was great to get a group of like-minded people together with loads of incredible work in beautifully curated space. The private view was wicked and I still can't get over those cupcakes! You guys made the whole experience so fun and easy, and I was delighted to hear that two of my pieces had sold. Thanks again guys and can't wait to hear about the other events you have coming up.”

-Klausiskoming

-Quiet British Accent

Participating in 'Seams' was an amazing experience. The exhibition was organised to an extremely high standard and everyone was very professional. I participated in several group shows before but none quite like this one. They treated me like an artist, respected my work and put a lot of effort into making the opening night a success. Its not common to come across group shows with a vision - Sweet 'Art definitely has that."

"I would like to say thank you very much for organizing such a great show, it was an amazing experience to be a part of wide range of exhibitors who choose very different medias and ways to express their views towards Art/Fashion. Organizing with such big number of artists would have been very hard works for the curators/ staff/ interns. However, it looked very smooth and smart making this happen. I would hope to be a part of your future shows if there are opportunities for me. Thank you again."
-Michiyo Hayes-Kuramochi

-Forlane 6 Studio

"I went to a really exciting and well curated show at the Crypt, St Pancreas last year. The work had an edge that had been so lacking in the commercial galleries in London recently.
So, I made enquirers how to get involved in a similar show in the future and participated as a performer, and also a fine artist in the show at the Espacio Gallery 2013.
It was really exciting for me as I had a chance to develop my performance 'Jowonder And The Psychic Tea Leaves,' with those that attended interacting with the public.
This opportunity provided a transformation for me and even for some of the people that participated in my work, so it was very rewarding indeed.
A big thanks to Corina Eastwood for organising the 2013 show and I'd love to do another one with her"
-JoWOnder

“Sweet 'Art show#1 was a marvellous possibility to enjoy the strength of women on International Womens' Day. Lust for life was shown as well as the joysance of presentation. I am very pleased that I could be part of that show where porn magazines were changed into a stunning evening gown, blockheads were piled, happy pink vaginas were eaten, colorful male genitals were put in between female portraits and ordinary life was just put in jars. I'm really looking forward to hearing of this collective again that I am proud to be part of it although I am living far away from London.”

I could not have wished for a better venue to exhibit "Petite Cherie" or a more friendly and professional team to organise the show. Although somewhat overwhelmed by the huge number of visitors, I quietly enjoyed watching and hearing them as they discovered my work"
-Yannick Perichon

"Thank you Corrina and Charlotte for the opportunity of working with Sweet 'Art. The whole experience was just amazing. I have been involved in art shows before but nothing so inspiring, exciting and professional as this. A big thank you again and I really can't wait for show #2."
