Y Not?

This time Sweet ‘Art will be partnering with two amazing creative organisations. Lensational, who empower women emotionally and economically through providing photography training and equipment, will be curating an area of the exhibition, showcasing the stunning photography resulting from the workshops they have facilitated with women in developing countries.

The LMP Gallery is an energetic and creative hub in Austin, Texas. This amazing organisation are also hosting an International Women’s Day show in parallel to Sweet ‘Arts London based exhibition and the two spaces will be exchanging 5 artworks to exhibit during the show run, in a display of international solidarity and connectedness! An archive of this cultural exchange will also be exhibited at each show. 

In addition to the thought provoking, well executed artworks guests attending the Y Not? private view evening can also enjoy welcome cocktails courtesy of Courvoisier along with the usual Sweet ‘Art freebies and surprises. Keep your eye out for those now infamous vagina cupcakes!  

Y Not? will run from the 31st of March – the  5th of April 2015 at The Espacio Gallery, 159 Bethnal Green Rd, London E2 7DG in support of the Art’s Therapy project at Solace, a charity that supports those who are survivors of domestic violence.
